Gluing Jigsaw Puzzle Together?
I have just complete my puzzle and this is the first time i am gluing it together. However, I wonder do I glue both side of the puzzle? And if not, which side do I glue it, the picture or the back?

glue the picture side, if not, you’ll ruin the whole thing.
The front, but I like to do a thin layer on the back after it dries just to be sure
probably on the picture side, then you don’t have to flip it and possibly ruin it.
My internet research has taught me that most people glue the front of the puzzle. However, I have seen references to mounting LIGHTWEIGHT puzzles on contact paper (use a rolling pin to ensure all puzzle pieces meet with the adhesive) or on glue-covered foamboard (lighter puzzles) or plywood (heavier, larger [1800+ pieces] puzzles, using carpenter glue), without using glue on the front of the puzzle..
I am in the process of desperately seeking a way to glue and/or mount a 500 piece WOODEN puzzle from the back rather than the front (I don’t want to gloss over the picture’s surface), and that’s how I found your question!
You only need to apply glue to a flat surface, then press the puzzle into it. Use a matte adhesive that’s tacky and dries clear.
